Meet our Providers
Edriss Estime, MD
Internal Medicine
Dr. Edriss Estime received his doctorate in medicine from St. Matthew’s University School of Medicine. He completed a residency program at Pinnacle Health Hospitals in Harrisburg, PA. He specializes in Internal Medicine. He speaks fluent French and English and is also conversant in Spanish. His hobbies include plastic arts, theater and comedy. Dr. Estime and his wife are currently living in the Iowa County area.
Philip McCune, DO
Family Practice
Philip McCune is a native of Williamsburg, Iowa, graduating from Williamsburg High School. He attended Iowa State University where he received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and then went onto Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine and received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine in 1987. Dr. McCune is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Iowa Academy of Family Physicians, the Iowa Association of Osteopathic Family Practice, the American Osteopathic Association, the Iowa Osteopathic Association and the Association of Military Surgeons United States. Dr. McCune is in the US Army Reserves associated with the 4207th. You may see Dr. McCune at the clinic, but he will also see patients in the MMH Emergency Room occasionally.
Gregory Neyman, MD
Family Physician
If you are admitted to MMH, it is likely you will meet Dr. Neyman as he cares for the majority of our hospitalized patients. He also practices in the emergency department and occasionally at our family medical clinic. He received his degree from the UHSA School of Medicine and attended residency at the University of Iowa's Northeast Iowa Family Medicine Residency Program in Waterloo. He is a resident of rural Amana and brings a great deal of clinical and administrative experience with him to MMH and was the medical director of two emergency departments prior to joining our team.
Susan Teggatz, MD
Pediatrician
Dr. Susan Teggatz joined Marengo Memorial Hospital and Family Medical Clinic in May of 2008. Dr. Teggatz is a board certified pediatrician and sees children of all ages. Dr. Teggatz earned her undergraduate and medical degree from the University of Iowa. She completed her residency at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, OH (associated with OSU). She completed her post residency at IHP in Cedar Rapids, St. Anthony's Hospital in Carroll and Partners in Pediatrics in Cedar Rapids. She is married and has three young boys. Her mission/goal is to run a friendly, efficient medical clinic and provide great health care close to home. She would like to help raise a generation of physically and mentally healthy, productive children.
Heidi Wauters, ARNP
Family Practice
Women's Health
Heidi Wauters joined the Family Medical Clinic in the spring of 2006. She received her Family Nurse Practitioner and her Master of Science of Nursing in 2005 from Allen College in Waterloo. She worked as a Registered Nurse in the Medical Intensive Care Unit at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics from 2000-2005. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. She volunteers as a member of the Belle Plaine Area Ambulance Board. Heidi is married and has two children.
